These are structured, outcome-focused engagements — not hourly tutoring. Every package begins with a detailed intake so I can review your materials before we meet and use our time on analysis, strategy and skill, rather than gathering background.

Academic integrity: My role is to help clients understand, analyse and improve their own work. I will not write or complete assessed academic work on a student's behalf or provide assistance inconsistent with applicable academic integrity requirements.

My Tutoring Philosophy

Understanding the law and legal procedure in Queensland

I believe that estate dispute litigators must have a very good understanding of the law, as well as excellent writing and research skills. Being able to think laterally is also key, as often the best solution to an estate dispute problem is not immediately apparent.

I focus on teaching students how to analyse and assess the facts of a case, and to develop a strategy that is most likely to achieve the best outcome for their client. I also emphasise the importance of writing clear and concise pleadings, submissions, and letters, which will be key to success as an estate dispute litigator.

In addition to practical skills, a lawyer needs to develop their personal brand and image in order to stand out from the competition. With about 3x more law graduates than job openings, it is important that lawyers promote themselves so they can obtain clients or referrals and build their books of business.
